If you have a few pimples that you want to get rid of in a short time frame, then you may be interested in one of the many different over-the-counter spot treatments that are widely available. These products usually contain salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. These chemicals help to break down the pimple quickly. You can even see results in just a few days in many cases.

Now if you want to get rid of a pimple quickly, you may be tempted to pop it yourself. But this is rarely a good idea. Although it seems counter-intuitive, it�s better in the long-run to leave them alone. If you want to get rid of a pimple through popping, I suggest that you try an over-the-counter treatment first.

In the long-term, it�s best to see your doctor about your acne problem. Although they can�t cure it for you overnight, they can give you some good advice that will be specific for your skin type. This is usually the best way of getting rid of your acne for good.

But if you don�t want to see a doctor about your problem (although you really should) then you should get some gentle cleanser (which you need to use twice a day) and some medicated spot cream to apply afterwards. Just doing these two simple things can help clear your skin to some degree in just a few weeks.
